Wow. One round of exams done already. I seem to be doing fairly well, which is a pleasant surprise I must say, especially with the near-scare I had last semester. It’s a whole new situation. So far I’m about 50/50 for A’s. It seems like I either get an A or a B-. I’m not complaining or anything; it’s just a little strange.
By far the class I hate the most this semester is Virology. It’s not bad material, it’s just taught in such a terrible way. I mean, seriously? It’s already a topic that is pretty dry, do you have to make it worse by reading your slides word-for-word and going off on meaningless tangents? Man. Ironically, Virology is one of the classes I got an A in. I whole-heartedly maintain that the reason for that is because I have taught myself the material. I spend the classes going over objectives and filling in virus property tables. Fun Fun Fun till Daddy takes the textbook away.
